Salt Lake City International Airport Parking

Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) offers hourly, daily, economy and long term parking options at the airport. The hourly, daily as well as the Premium Reserved Parking can be found in the parking garage located directly south of the terminal building while the Economy lot option is a parking lot also located at the airport, but with a somewhat longer walking distance than the parking garage offers. The long term parking lot is located further away, but with a complimentary shuttle bus provided for transfer to and from the terminal.

Accepted payment methods are cash as well as all major credit cards.

Parking Guidance System at Salt Lake City Airport

A PGS, Parking Guidance System, has been installed in the airport’s Parking Garage to make it easier for travelers to locate a parking space when entering the garage. The system will indicate where there are available parking spaces using a system of colored lights as follows:

• Green – General parking is available
• Blue – Handicapped parking is available
• Yellow – EV (Electric Vehicle) parking is available
• Red – Parking is not available

The PGS can also assist travelers in locating a lost vehicle, although the mobile application PARK ASSIST has to be downloaded.

Complimentary Parking Services at Salt Lake City Airport

The airport offers several complimentary services to drivers in need of assistance in case they arrive back at their car and can’t find it, or discover it needs a battery jump, flat tire inflation or fuel assistance. Assistance can be reached at +1 801-575-2401.

Parking Garage at Salt Lake City Airport

The parking garage offers convenient indoor covered parking adjacent to the terminal with skywalks connecting the two buildings. The skywalks are located on the second level of the four levelled parking structure.

It offers hourly parking at $5 per hour at the daily maximum of $35, which is the fee for daily parking.

Premium Reserved Parking is $10 per hour or fraction of an hour with the daily maximum of $55.

Accessible parking spaces for persons with disabilities are available on all four levels of the garage for the same rate as the Economy Parking Lot, $10 per day.

Economy Parking at Salt Lake City Airport

The Economy Parking Lot offers affordable parking a short walk to the terminal.

The fee is $5 per hour.

Long Term Parking at Salt Lake City Airport

Free shuttles are provided by the airport from the shuttle stops located in various locations of the parking lot.

Parking for disabled drivers is located near each shuttle stop. Shuttles run 24 hours a day all days of the week with departures every 8-10 minutes.

The fee for long term parking is $10 per day.

EV Charging Stations at Salt Lake City Airport

44 charging points accommodating 88 parking spaces for Electric Vehicles are available at the airport.

The dual port EV Charging stations have standard connectors to accommodate all models of EVs and each port supplies up to 7.2 kW of power. All stations also include an instruction video showing users how to operate the stations and there is also phone support available at all times.

There are a total of 28 dual port charging stations in the parking garage, available on all floors, as well as 8 in the Economy Lot, and the employee parking lot also has EV Charging Stations available. The Touch n’ Go Convenience Store next to the Economy Lot also has one EV Charging Station for public use.
