Bus Transfers To and From Salt Lake City Airport

When arriving at Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) it is necessary to transfer from the airport to the destination. Before proceeding to exit the Baggage Claim area, please make sure to collect your luggage.

There are several options available for transfer from the airport, somewhat depending on where you are going next from there. These options include rental cars, taxis, trains and buses.

Public Transportation Buses at Salt Lake City Airport

UTA, Utah Transit Authority, provides bus services to a few locations through three different routes, Route 453, Route 454 and Route 551. All services are limited.

• Route 453 runs between Salt Lake City and Tooele on weekdays.
• Route 454 runs between Salt Lake City and Grantsville on weekdays.
• Route 551 runs between the airport and the International Center on weekday mornings, and in the opposite direction on weekday afternoons.

A single adult journey has the fare of $2.50.

Hotel Shuttle Services at Salt Lake City Airport

Some hotels in the area offer a shuttle service to their guests for convenient transfer to or from the airport and the hotel. These transfers are arranged by the traveler or their representative, before the traveler arrives at the airport, through the hotel in question. These services are sometimes complementary and sometimes they come with an additional charge attached to them. Each hotel is different so travelers will have to check with their hotel directly if this service is available.
